The Hakone Open-Air Museum (Hakone-machi)
An outdoor museum that attempts to blend the nature of Hakone with art. Over 400 masterpieces including the Picasso Collection are on permanent display at the museum. The majority of these works are outdoor sculptures by world-renowned masters of art from the 20th century including Rodin, Maillol, Bourdelle, Miro and Henry Moore as well as some of the best artists in Japan.
Relax your body and soul at this museum where the greenery of the four seasons in Hakone are in harmony with the beautiful sculptures.

Odawara Castle: (Odawara City)
This was the castle of the Hojo Clan, the supreme rulers of the Kanto region in the Sengoku Period. It saw continual renovation and grew as the main site of Kanto rule, eventually becoming the largest medieval castle in Japan. The castle keep was rebuilt in 1960 and Sagami Bay can be seen from the top floor. Visitors can try on ancient samurai armor or a kimono dress in the donjon area.
