Higashi-Izu Town is halfway down the Izu Peninsula, on the eastern side. Spend some time relaxing in the hot springs of the town, with the Amagi mountain range to the west, and the Pacific Ocean to the east. The town is also especially proud of its cooking, and the locally caught red snapper is a real treat.
