Susono is a verdantly green city, lying in the foothills of Mt. Fuji, Mt. Hakone and the Ashitaka mountain range. With the Hoei crater right in front, one is offered a dynamic, near symmetrical view of Mt. Fuji. The area is rich in leisure resorts, too, such as Fujiyama Resort and Fuji Safari Park.
