Kawaguchiko is an onsen resort town, offering many different types of events the whole year through. In addition to magnificent views of Mt. Fuji and the lake, there are many cultural and activity based sightseeing spots. The new Fuji Kawaguchiko Tourist Information Center has been opened in front of Kawaguchiko Station, and is able to handle tourist queries in foreign languages.
