  Fuefuki City

Fuefuki City is well known for its flowers, fruits and hot springs. Peach flowers come into full bloom during the early April, dyeing everything in sight in pink (Togenkyo). You can enjoy picking peaches from early July to mid August and grapes from early August to mid October. Situated in the city are the Isawa Hot Springs and the Kasugai Hot Springs, both of which are renowned hot springs in Japan. Because this area has a plenty of accommodation facilities, it has become a base for tourists who travel around the Yamanashi region. Lots of events and festivities are held in Fuefuki City throughout a year, such as the “Peach Blossom Festival” in spring, the cormorant fishing re-enactment and the “Isawa Hot Springs Festival” in summer.
